Welcome to Week 7!

Evening all,

The term is passing by so quickly and I continue to be so proud of many of the students in our class. We have been working super hard on our basic facts and fractions, decimals and percentages for maths and many of our students are leading the way in Mathletics. Our team leaderboard will be updated in the morning.

Congratulations to the following students who said their 3 minute speeches last Thursday and did a wonderful job. The rest of the class will say theirs in the morning.

Sonny Perston - Trains
Attlee Waitoa - Being the middle child
Tamati Ingram - Duck Hunting
Andre Tangaroa - My Greatest Inventions
Taimana Teneti - Six Facts about me
Jazmine Manuel - Money
Lena-Marie Baty Akurangi - Child Abuse
Summa Raukawa - Don't drink and drive

We will announce our team finalists on Tuesday and they will be held on Thursday at 9am in the school hall.

Kensuke's Kingdom Book Reviews

Not everyone has completed their book review but Paddy and Indy were two of the first to get their reviews in. This book was very popular with the class and we are now reading our second Vince Ford book for the year 'A Handful of Blue' which is based out at Makorori.

Have a great week everyone and please check out our team page for lots of important information about the week ahead.
